A tribute to kids in hospital who deserve joy and imagination

Tammy and Riley have chosen to raise much needed funds for Supertee

Every year families across our community bring joy through Christmas lights. This year I am choosing to use that joy for something more meaningful. As our home lights up for Christmas, I am inviting others to help light up the lives of children in hospital who deserve comfort, imagination and strength during some of their toughest days.

I have used our Christmas Lights to fundraise for 6 years for Supertee, as they were an integral part of my son's cancer treatment.  Riley wanted to wear his Supertee whenever he had to go to the hospital to have any treatment done.  The Supertee replaces the standard hospital gown and gives the child the confidence to get through anything.  They can wear the Supertee for scans, and you do not have to get a nurse to unhook you from all the equipment to change them, as there are plastic snap clips on both shoulders and one side.  

Your support will help provide Supertee's to children receiving treatment in hospitals across Australia. These imaginative medical garments are more than clothing. They spark imagination. They lift spirits. They remind children that even in hospital, they can feel brave, playful and seen.
