Workplace giving

Signing up to workplace giving is a simple way to donate to Supertee from your pre-tax salary to help bring strength through imagination to sick kids.

What is Workplace Giving?

Workplace Giving, also known as Payroll Giving, is a simple and powerful way for employees to bring strength through imagination to children in hospital.

Employees choose to donate a portion of their pre tax salary to Supertee, with the tax benefit applied immediately through payroll. There is no need to wait until the end of the financial year. It is a seamless partnership between employers, employees and Supertee, working together to support children during some of the hardest days of their lives.

Workplace Giving is one of the most effective ways working Australians can create consistent, meaningful impact. Small regular contributions quickly add up, helping us deliver imaginative medical wear to children across more than one hundred hospitals.

Each $52 donated helps to supply a child in hospital strength through imagination with a Supertee.

What is Matched Giving?

Organisations can deepen their impact through Matched Giving. This is where an employer matches employee donations, either dollar for dollar, by doubling contributions, or up to a set amount.

Matched Giving sends a powerful message. It shows employees that their commitment matters and that their workplace stands beside them in supporting children in hospital.

Together, these programs transform everyday generosity into something life changing. Every contribution helps us reach more children, unlocking imagination and bringing strength when it matters most.

If 50 staff members donated just $5 weekly from their pre-tax wage we would be able to gift 250 Supertees to sick kids

How can I get involved?

Employers

Setting up Workplace Giving is simple and meaningful.

Employers can introduce the program through their existing payroll system and invite team members to opt in using a registration form. Once payroll deductions begin, remittance advice can be provided directly to Supertee at giving@supertee.org.au so we can ensure every contribution is directed to children who need it most.

Workplace Giving strengthens more than impact. It strengthens culture with some employer benefits including:

• Build stronger staff engagement and retention
• Foster a shared sense of purpose
• Demonstrate genuine social impact

Individuals

You can participate through your organisation’s Workplace Giving program, or through a trusted online workplace giving platform such as Benevity or GoodCompany

Small, consistent generosity can change a hospital experience and allow a child to have strength through imagination.
