CWC Club is thrilled to become a corporate partner for Supertee Charity. Our club is governed by six core values: Exchange in Abundance, No Ego All Love, Always Positive and Fun, Unwavering Integrity, Hank Level Loyalty, and Don’t Miss the Magic. We searched for many years to find a charity that embodied our values, and we found that charity in Supertee.
Let me focus on one value in particular that perfectly aligns with what Supertee does and the impact they have on the lives of the beautiful children they help: Don’t Miss the Magic.
In today’s fast-paced world of entrepreneurship and business, it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos and noise. The landscape can be overwhelming, with limited hours in the day and constant demands pulling us in a million directions. Amidst this hustle, we often overlook the magic that exists around us—a magic that thrives only when we fully commit to our values.
This value requires each of us to slow down, quiet the noise, and take a moment to reflect on how we can contribute to our community. Whether it’s offering an introduction, giving advice or feedback, or making an unexpected call to brighten someone’s day, these acts of kindness and support are what keep our community vibrant and magical.
“Don’t Miss the Magic” also embodies the belief that we gain much more when we give selflessly. By offering our time and resources without expecting anything in return, we create a cycle of abundance and fulfillment.
Understanding the magic behind the charity is also essential. At CWC Club, we believe in the power and magic of the expectation effect. Let me explain: some may view these hospital garments as convenient pieces of clothing to help feed through tubes, etc., and yes, while that is true, if viewed as just that, you would be "missing the magic." And as you know, we don’t miss the magic at CWC Club or Supertee.
The magic is that these kids are often in the fight of their lives, and when they adorn the Supertee garment, they become superheroes ready to fight off any disease and illness. This is the real magic. The mind is incredibly powerful and still holds many mysteries we have yet to fully understand. The expectation effect, also known as the placebo effect, occurs when an individual's beliefs and expectations influence their physical health and well-being. This phenomenon demonstrates the power of the mind in affecting the body, where positive beliefs can lead to real, measurable improvements in health.
For instance, if a sick child believes they have superpowers, this strong positive belief can trigger the body's natural healing processes. Here’s how this works:
- Positive Mental State: Believing in superpowers or any positive concept boosts the child’s mood and reduces stress. Lower stress levels can enhance immune function, making the body more capable of fighting off illness.

Many of our members have children, including myself, and we understand there is nothing worse in the world than when your child is ill. So, in summary, the reason CWC Club has partnered with Supertee is that we want to give these beautiful children the best chance they have of being well again and living long, healthy, and happy lives.
I am fundraising to help bring strength through imagination to sick kids, and I am asking for donations to Supertee.
The Supertee is a medical garment that inspires imagination. It provides parents and hospital staff with an easier way to change their child while accessing or bypassing medical lines. Supertee aims to bring convenience, comfort, and the wonders of imaginative play to hospitals in Australia and around the world. They want kids to be recognized as the true superheroes they are.
Supertee is so much more than a t-shirt; it’s a way to comfort children and families when they need it the most.
