A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve Our little heroes persevere each day to overcome their illnesses, and so it is incumbent upon us to give whatever assistance we can. As soon as I first saw the Supertee I realised the power this simple garment could give our little heroes, some of whom, have been literally fighting for their entire life. Many children have had to endure numerous visits to the hospital. Taken from their family, friends, and their beloved pets, in some cases for months on end. When in hospital everything we call home is replaced by a sterile room, strange noises of medical machines, and constant medical procedures. Some are mundane such as a temperature check, some are more invasive. And all the while we hope our little heroes get better. The Supertee is a positive deflection of the reality of the hospital stay. The Supertee is something a child can call their own and find the strength they never knew they had. Just like a real life Superhero. That is why I call upon your help to support this charity and raise money to donate Supertee's to sick children staying in hospitals throughout Queensland. One Super Tee for one little Super Hero at a time. Thank you.
