Shortly after my little girl’s first birthday, I noticed she was acting ill. We visited numerous doctors and ended up in Westmead Children’s Hospital where after days of testing they found she had a rare type of cancer, Langerhans Cell Hystiocytosis.
Angela was given a 20% chance of survival.
Sitting by her hospital bed I knew there was nothing I could do to help her, until I noticed how difficult it was to change her clothes while she was connected to the IV drip and various monitors. This is when the idea for the Supertee was born.
I called a childhood friend and together, over many late nights, we created something which I know will help make the lives of sick children, that little bit easier.
In 2020, I created the “Fair Fight Foundation” as the Not-For-Profit behind the Supertee.
My dream is to make sure that wherever in the world a parent is given the news their child is battling a terminal illness, that a Supertee is available. With your help, we can make this dream a reality.
